    Elizabeth Yakubu, M.D., F.A.A.P.
    Owner/ Board Certified Pediatrician

    Dr. Yakubu has been caring for the children and families of the Tampa area for almost 30 years. She received her medical degree from the University of Benin in Nigeria and completed her pediatric residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Ohio. She has been Board Certified in Pediatrics since 1990.

    Prior to opening her own practice, she served the community by working as a pediatrician in urban community health clinics in Hillsborough County. Since opening the Children’s Health Center, she has maintained her commitment to providing quality patient care to the communities that need it the most. Dr. Yakubu is known for her kind, efficient and straightforward approach to caring for her patients. She has cared for thousands of children throughout her career, many are the children and grandchildren of her former patients. She is well-respected and known throughout the Hillsborough county medical community and beyond.

  • Dr.
    Alrick L. D. Drummond M.D., F.A.A.P., CLC
    Board Certified Pediatrician

    Dr. Drummond was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. In 2008 she graduated cum laude from Florida State University (Tallahassee) with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She received her Medical Doctorate from the Florida State University in 2014 and completed her pediatric residency at Crozer Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. During her residency, she completed additional training in breastfeeding and is a Certified Lactation Counselor

    As a life-long member of the Tampa Bay community, it was Dr. Yakubu who inspired her to pursue a career in Pediatric medicine. Dr. Drummond is committed to improving health literacy in patients and families from underserved populations and understands the impact that a good pediatrician can have on the community.

  • Regina L. M. Oyekoya, FNP-BC, M.Ed, MSN
    Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

    Ms. Regina has been caring for patients as a Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years. She completed her undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Maryland. She would later complete her graduate nursing degree at the University of Tampa in 1999 and became board certified shortly after. The bulk of her nursing career has been spent providing both outpatient and in-home care to children and adults in the Tampa Bay area. Her clinical focus is preventative care. In addition to her primary care expertise, she also holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a Master of Education degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
